Helped organize the Air Force ROTC program at the University of West

As an automation manager, oversaw a special project to purchase $1.5
million worth of small store point of purchase terminals for 24 Air
Force Commissaries (Grocery Stores), with annual sales per store
averaging $5-$10 million.
Chief of Services and Special Project Manager for the development of
the winning nomination package for the Air Force Food Service 1991
Hennessy Management Award; my organization was the only remote site
chosen to compete based on superior food service programs.
Strategic Air Command Representative on a selectively-manned Central
Command Air Forces Staff in support of Desert Shield/Desert Storm;
delivered $500,000 worth of morale enhancing holiday goods/food items to
100,000 Air Force Personnel.
Operations Officer, supervising officer during the total automating
of the grocery store at Mather Air Force Base (AFB), California and
Charleston AFB, South Carolina; pioneering the conversion from a manual
inventory system to an automated on-line computerized requisition
inventory control system for stores with $34-$50 million in annual
sales—automated inventory worth $50-$100 million.
Developed a Joint (Air Force, Army, Navy & Marine Corps) Services
Check Cashing Policy and led negotiations with other Department of
Defense grocery store/exchange officials to adopt a uniform check
cashing policy; Results: improved check control and verifiable
savings--$150,000 per month.
Familiar with Florida state purchasing laws and rules through
ownership of a local grocery store with over 1500 line items.
Directed and determined the metered mailing needs of over 400
volunteers—mass mailing to over 200,000 individuals as the coordinator
of the Democratic Headquarters of Escambia County during the 1992
election season.

-The Land Trust is a 501©3 Corporation Under IRS rules, that acquires
land with the purpose of keeping it affordable while increasing
homeownership. We also have a entrepreneurial and digital focus that
helps every boat rise with the tide of opportunity. Since March 2005
through August 12, 2005 our homeowner consultants have had 1,339
Appointments; 689 Pre-qualified Approvals; 448 Pre-qualified
Disapprovals; 205 Cancelled Appointments while distributing 9981 flyer
advertising our community service initiatives.
Commander, Services Flight, Duke Field, Crestview, Florida 1996-2005
-Won Special Operations and Services Worldwide awards like no other
commander before me! Lead over 52 military and civilian personnel.
Excellence was our promise and the motto we executed daily! Retired
August 2005 from the United States Air Force Reserves with 20 years of
Active and Reserve duty time.

-Director of hospitality operations with a 40-person staff
responsible for addressing quality of life issues for 700 base
personnel. Controlled over $50 million in real estate and associated
equipment with an operating budget of $2-$3 million. Provided
administrative management for $2 million in revenues and eight
warehouses with 300,000 square feet.
Director of Strategic Planning-Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota 1989-1991
-Oversaw the training programs necessary to ensure the readiness of
124 special services personnel, supervisor of five senior enlisted
members. Action Officer for a $4.5 million annual operating budget and
Executive Director during Commander’s absence. Project Officer that
directed the buying and purchasing of and installation of a $500,000
computer network; personnel administrator and mobility program manager.
Commissary Staff Officer-Kelly AFB, Texas 1986-1989
-Designed, tested, evaluated and implemented systems to automate
customer service departments and cash control sections for 147 resale
stores and 116 food warehouses worldwide. Created a check acceptance
system used worldwide, implemented an automated customer service
scheduling system, and designed a training video for grocery store
baggers and checkers to improve customer service.
Assistant Commissary Officer-Clark AB, Republic of the Philippines
1983-1986
-Directed and accountable for the ordering and delivery of food
stuffs for the largest overseas Air Force Commissary with $30 million in
annual revenue. Diagramed and implemented the 50,000 line item grocery
store reset while directing the opening of the new $7.2 million facility
with over 30,000 square feet of shopping space. Directly and indirectly
supervised 225 personnel.
Complex Operations Officer-Charleston AFB, South Carolina 1980-1983
-Monitored the operations of seven commissaries whose combined annual
sales totaled $50 million. Project Leader for successful grocery store
resets—over 300,000 square feet of warehouse and retail sales space—for
seven stores. Supervised 450 employees on the management/execution of
all safety, security, training and records management procedures (public
record retention expertise exercised in 3 states and Air Force-wide).
Won two National Safety Council Awards for significantly reducing
employee accidents.
